The Legacy Project

Our Parishioner, Keith Peter Wilson has published a book:
Just Lookin' out of the Window: Life's Lessons From My Mother
The book is available on Amazon.
The Afterword is by Father Andrew Smith, former Pastor of Holy Angels Catholic Church

"This book is a journey down the memory lane of my life, which is filled with many life lessons that were imparted to me by the most influential people in my life. The people I am referring to are my parents, Alease and James Wilson. The soundtrack of my life was established in the 1970s, beginning after my parents moved our family out of public housing and into our first home in 1969. Like every home at that time, we gathered around our living room television or listened to wonderful soul music on the home stereo created in that decade. Family meals and car trips were like comedy shows. Catholic school and church taught me about faith and discipline. My dad was the rock and my mother was the soul of the family. This is a bird’s eye view of life growing up with my family on the South Side of Chicago."
